Vallingby New Town was famous in Sweden in 1960 and 1970 for treatment of the landscape. Designers admired how the natural landscape elements have been integrated into the urban fabric. During the 1980's, not a different approach is known as the planting of green - and in 1990 became known as sustainable planting.
