The Alexandrina Library is located on the coast of the Mediterranean Sea in the Egyptian city of Alexandria. It was built in commemoration of the ancient Library of Alexandria that was lost in antiquity, in an attempt to revive something of the brilliance that this earlier center of study and erudition represented.

This 20 000 hectares of national park is located on the banks of the Vaal River Delportshoop between Barkly West and South Africa. This is probably one of the most interesting parks in the country because it covers a large area of transition between Grassveld, Kalahari and Karoo biomes.
