Songgwangsa is a Famous Temple in South Korea
Songgwangsa is one of the largest Seon Buddhist monasteries in South Korea, and is regarded as one of three temples Jewel of the South Korea. It serves as the head temple for the 21st district of Jogye Order.
Songgwangsa is located on the mountain Jogye in Songgwang-myeon, Suncheon, Jeollanam-do, South Korea. Founded by Jinul during the Unified Silla period, the monastery is still very active today as a centre of practice.
